<p>1. Make your belly fat take a heavy HIIT.</p>
<p>Scientists at Laval University in Quebec studied the differences between high-intensity interval training, or HIIT, and regular aerobic exercise carried out at a steady rate. At the end of three months, the scientists found that HIIT resulted in three times as much fat loss, although muscle gain offset weight loss. Still, HIIT exercisers lost about half an inch of belly fat, compared to less than one-quarter of an inch from the steady-state exercisers.</p>
<p>What do you do to make your belly fat take a HIIT? Start your walking, jogging, bicycle, or elliptical routine as normal, and work out at an easy pace for 5 to 7 minutes. <p>Does it sound good to do fewer sit-ups? The truth is, especially if you are dieting to lose fat, your body just can&#8217;t handle more than about 50 sit-ups a week. It won&#8217;t have a chance to rebuild your ab muscles into a tighter and more powerful contour. Most women lose more belly fat by doing fewer, not more, sit-ups.</p>
<p>3. Do one or two repetitions against the highest resistance your muscles can handle, and stop.</p>
<p>Women who want to lose belly fat usually make faster progress with resistance machines, like those you find in a gym, than they do with free weights. If you want to strengthen your core muscles and the extensors muscles that also support your belly, use your machine to push as hard as you can. Just stop after 1 or 2 repetitions of the highest resistance you can move.</p>

<p>The Power Wheel is a training device you put on the floor in front of you. You roll the wheel back and forth to strengthen both your abs and your core muscles.</p>
<p>The advantage of the Power Wheel is that, unlike a Swiss ball, you don&#8217;t have worry about the device falling out from under you, so you can use more force. You get more muscle training for less effort with a Power Wheel than with almost any other common exercise for abs, including sit-ups.</p>
<p>5. Instead of sit-ups, try a &#8220;hanging knee&#8221; exercise with foot straps.</p>
<p>Some women try to flatten their abs by doing the &#8220;hanging leg&#8221; exercise. You lie down on the floor and then raise your legs up into the air, holding them for a few moments and then gently lowering them back down. The problem with this exercise is that it places a lot of stress on the spine.</p>
<p>To get the same benefits for your abs without risk of injuring your back, do the exercise with foot straps attached to an exercise bar. You&#8217;ll get just as much benefit for your abs with a much lower risk of lower back pain.</p>

She often asks me if there is are any quick things she can apply to her lifestyle in addition to the exercise she does to help her along the way. Hence the idea behind this article.</p>
<p>Trick 1: Throughout the day try to consume 2-3 liters of icy cold water. This trick really is great, it&#8217;s so easy to implement and actually has a significant effect of your daily calorie expenditure. It works by cooling down your core body temperature forcing you your body to automatically work harder to heat itself back to optimal temperature, this process alone can burn up to an extra 500kcal per day!</p>
<p>Trick 2: First thing in the morning when you wake up and before eating anything, consume a high caffeine sugar free drink. Something like red bull sugar free or even just a strong black coffee. This will give you an instant metabolism boost at a time when you most need it &#8211; after 8 hours of sleep! This metabolic boost will last throughout the day and could burn an anywhere from 100-200kcal day.</p>
<p>Trick 3: Exercise first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. This trick is even more effective when combined with trick 2. What happens here is as your body has no carbohydrates to burn up (because you have been fasting while asleep) you end up switching into fat body mode where your body burns up its stored energy supplies. What this means for you is that the calories you are burning while exercising are coming straight from your fat supplies instead of your digested food.</p>

<p>The quicker you want to lose weight, the more frequently you should exercise. Doing cardio 6 times per week is certainly a lot more beneficial, then doing cardio 3 times. Then again starting off too fast can be counter-productive, if you are not used to working out. It is always better to take it slowly at first.</p>
<p>But the frequency at which you exercise, are not the only factors you should consider. The duration of your workout, the intensity of your workout and the type of exercise you are doing are just as important. The more calories you burn, the more weight you can lose. For example, if you weight 230 pounds and do cardio at a moderate pace for 30 minutes, then you burn 317 calories. If you exercise 4 times a day, then in one week you would burn 1268 calories.</p>
<p>If you would like to burn more calories, then you can use several options. The first option, is to simply increase the frequency of your workouts, from 4 to 6 times a week for example. Then you would burn 1902 calories a week, which is a big difference. Another option is to make your workouts longer, from 30 minutes to 45 minutes. Then you would burn 476 calories, instead of 317 calories.</p>
<p>The faster you want to lose weight, the more you have to exercise and exercising more times per week, is a great way to burn more calories. But if you don`t have the time to do this, then you can also use other options. The main thing is to enjoy exercise and be persistent.</p>
